We need your support!

As we enter the last weeks of 2015 and celebrate the season of giving, we also enter a season of charitable giving. I hope you will consider giving back to the community, and humbly ask that you add the Des Moines Maker Space to your list of organizations.

While the makerspace is known for supporting the DIY and maker movements, we are also a registered 501(c)3 and offer valuable education and community outreach. These services include regular talks and classes, support for student projects, and booths or presentations for K-12 STEM events.

Our dream for 2016 is to further increase our value and class opportunities by purchasing equipment — including metalworking tools and a CNC plasma cutter — and developing additional opportunities to share our workshop with local STEM organizations. We need your support to seed these initiatives and position us for successful growth in 2016. Please join us in expanding our impact on the students, innovators, and entrepreneurs of Des Moines.

Donations may be made on our website, by check to “Des Moines Maker Space”, PO Box 4841, Des Moines, IA, or by Paypal or Dwolla to area515dsm@gmail.com, and are tax deductible.

Thank you, and happy holidays!
